How to Balance School and a Child

Balancing a child and school could be extremely overwhelming. You will constantly be behind on work or maybe close to not even finishing it. You will have long night and early mornings for about 3 years and for anyone that could be stressful. Like I said before some teenagers may not have help from their parents so when it comes time to come to school teens usually drop out. Statistics have proven that about 70 percent of teenagers drop out of high school due to an unplanned pregnancy. 70% is more than half!!! So you see we have to make a difference.
From personal experience I can tell you there is a way out. Every county has their social services department. In your social services department you are able to go to the child care services department. The person at the front desk will take you and your child’s information such as social security cards and birth certificates to prove that you are the legal guardian. Once you sign all the paper and documents that are needed you will then meet your child care advisor. You advisor will explain to you all the possible ways you can receive a voucher. A voucher is a document saying that you are given free daycare from the government. The only possible ways of receiving a vouchers is if you’re a full time student with no income, or if you do have income but it is not enough to pay for child care services. Once that information is calculated up you will receive a voucher and review the possible daycares you will like to put your child in.
If you would like more information you can visit these possible sites according to your county.

Our parents say "children are a gift from above above"., but is it all so true when their child has a baby? Teen parents go through so many trials and challenges when they find out in nine months or sooner a baby will be here. Although our parents make it seem like the worst possible thing that has ever happend to you. You must remind them and yourself that all children are from a gift from above.

On February 16, 2010 I gave birth to an amazing little girl. Nine months before February 16 many thoughts ran through my head. How will I Finish school? Can I afford day care? Will I loose friends? The same questions I asked myself I know many teenagers asked thereself. In most cases there is the 16 year old girl who has no one but herself. But in many cases there is also a 16 year old boy who has the same questions as well. Although the percentage of teen parents who stay together are low there are many who stay together and they both go through the same challenges. As teen parents alot of things change. You may loose friends and you may loose time for yourself. Now you may have to look at yourself as a young adult. This blog is not to scare you but to inform you on what may occur when you decide to have unprotected sex.

Cute baby right? Every teenager thinks that face right there is so easy to take care of, but its not. When you leave the hospital everything is in your hands. You have to feed, burp, change, and wipe your child. The key words is yours! Like I said before some teenagers have help from the father or maybe even their parents buts its never enough. We must raise the issue to young people that you can wait. Whats the rush? You wanna have sex because everyone is doing it. In reality everyone may be doing it but everyone doesnt have a baby. Another issue is that young kids don't see is that precious baby above will not stay a baby for long. After they turn one they turn two, three, four, five and so on. Kids get no younger and neither do you so why not be a kid and live your life before you try to raise someone of your own.

Teenagers need someone where they can get advice and they can relate to someone that has been through the same thing and that person is me. If you have futher questions you may contact me through comments below. THINK ABOUT IT
